Chris Vernier is a naturally gifted artist. Born and raised in Michigan, she created her first piece in 1971, worked the outdoor art circuit, and then, left her passion behind to pursue a career as an organization and employee development consultant.

Now, retired, and happily living in Southwest Florida, Chris has resumed her painting with fervor. She finds inspiration in a wide variety of subjects and delivers a consistent positive, uplifting expression of life in every piece that she creates.

Winner of many awards, she has been featured in Coastal Life, Florida Weekly, Spotlight, and had her first solo art show at The Sweet Art Gallery in Naples. Her work is shown in Lorne’s Gallery in Cape Coral, Punta Gorda Center for the Visual Arts in Punta Gorda, North Port Art Center in North Port and Venice Art Center in Venice.
